Each and every day, packages containing hazardous, illegal, prohibited, and restricted items are shipped across the world, endangering numerous supply chain individuals, as well as the environment.

Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, flammable liquids and solids, oxidizers and organic peroxides, poisonous materials, radioactive materials, corrosives, and infectious materials. You also might be surprised to learn that many common items are considered dangerous goods in air transportation. If permitted, they must be identified, properly marked, labeled, documented, packaged, and certified.
