In today's environmentally conscious world, people realize that recycling is essential to the health of our planet. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the popularity-and necessity-of recycling everyday materials has grown dramatically in less than 20 years.

The EPA reports that today, Americans recycle 32.5 percent of their waste-almost double what it was 15 years ago. Consumers now understand the value of recycling everyday materials more than ever before.

Shipping products are one of the biggest creators of waste. With that in mind, Pak Mail has joined the campaign to go green!

Peanuts, get your peanuts!
All Pak Mail locations nationwide are part of the Peanut Hotline, a recycle and reuse program started by the Plastic Loose Fill Council. Pak Mail is part of a national database of drop-off sites that provide consumers with a place to take packing peanuts for reuse. Pak Mail's 400 locations now offer consumers a way to dispose of plastic loose fill that is environmentally friendly.

The Peanut Hotline is America's most successful packaging reuse and recycling program. It has referred more than a million consumers so far and thousands of individuals each month, saving energy, reducing waste, and conserving natural resources.
