In honor of Military Appreciation Month, Pak Mail and nonprofit Cell Phones For Soldiers are asking local residents to help troops call home by donating gently-used cellular phones. Although the military landscape is ever changing, as many as 200,000 troops are serving in the United States military overseas and around the world. Dear Failed New Year’s Resolutions,
We know it is not your fault that someone picked you as “their” resolution with zero intent of actually completing you, the resolution.
We’ve been there. It’s the end of December and someone decided they are going to work on a New Year’s Resolution in the upcoming year. Online shopping will see the largest growth.

Thanksgiving and Hanukkah are right around the corner and that means Christmas is not far behind. The holiday shopping season seems to begin earlier and earlier every year with holiday items found in stores during Halloween and lights and decorations going up in early November. For some, the holidays can mean a time of stress over mall traffic, choosing the right gifts, and getting those gifts to their intended recipients on time. Others seem to be on top of everything with all their gifts purchases, wrapped, and out the door before Thanksgiving.
