What is Freight Shipping?
Freight shipping refers to the transportation of large shipments of commodities and goods via air, land, or sea. A freight shipment is generally anything that exceeds 150 pounds and 165 inches in length plus girth. Any shipment smaller than that is usually handled by popular carriers such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Nearly any product can be shipped via freight, but be sure to double check with your provider.
